I've got a few new yarns going into the shop today or tomorrow. Mostly natural colors.
I have a "Cloud Nine" and 2 "Marshmallow World" yarns. I also have a OOAK "Pink Marshmallow".
Check out the Pink Marshmallow...

This past weekend had that crisp smell in the air of late fall early winter. So, that got me thinking a lot about the holidays. I know it's reallllly early, but I'm feeling Christmas already. Not the crazy part of it, just the fun parts of the season. That pretty much explains why I spun the first 2 yarns...
Art Yarn "Ribbon Candy" this yarn is wool wrapped with Pink thread
"Holly Berry" is a Cloud Nine spin. This is a wool blend plied with Red thread
"Tropical Dusk Marshmallow" is a One of a Kind. This can not be duplicated. It's even hard to describe. It's a Light and Dark Silvery Gray, but it has a light indigo blue hue to it. It's absolutely beautiful, but it was very difficult to capture the color in this photo.
Thick & Thin Merino
This is a much thinner merino. Spun slightly thick & thin. Approx. 6wpi

1st Project on new rigid heddle loom
This is going to be a scarf. I'm using a bunch of different scraps in neutral colors. The lighting is not too good in this room, so the photo looks a bit dark. I'm still waiting for my loom stand to be delivered, so this is its home for now. I'll post photos of the finished scarf (in daylight) when it's completed.

Rhinebeck NY Sheep & Wool festival
What a beautiful weekend we had for the wool festival. Two perfect autumn days filled with wonderful people & fiber. As always, there was so much to see and do. Along with purchasing lots of fiber, I also purchased an Ashford rigid heddle loom! Very exciting...I can't wait to get started on it~
Sunday was a little less crowded then Saturday.
I was so happy to get a chance to meet Steph from Loop.....Love her!! She had a booth with all of her Amazzzzing fibers. If you haven't spun her fibers, you must....they are scrumptious!
Blessings,

Did you notice??
Did you visit my shops today and happen to notice quite a few items missing??
I'm off to a spinners gathering where often visitors may want to purchase items. So I took a handful of items from my shops and a handful of items from DeepSeaFibers and I'm off. Sun is rising & it looks like it's going to be a beautiful autumn day!
I should have new yarns by the end of the week. I'm working on quite a few special orders so I'll be working on shop yarns in between.
Enjoy your day!

Martha's Vineyard
What a great time of year to visit Martha's Vineyard. The towns are so quaint, fabulous shopping and beautiful sunsets. I even came back with a bag full of fiber!
